  1. Earlier this year, you may remember that I was a finalist in the Networking Mummies UK Recognition Business Awards in the New Business category! This was such a huge achievement for me – it has been an incredibly tough year trying to get my business of the ground with limited time and budget, whilst juggling the home, children and all their commitments - a challenge that every business mum will empathise with!

  2. Good question! The BBTSA stands for the British Baton Twirling Sports Association, and for those of you who have never heard of the sport, it really is amazing to watch. Having had nothing to do with baton twirling until my daughter took it up seven years ago, I had no idea what to expect. It is a combination of dance and gymnastics combined with the twirling of a baton in which routines are set. The athlete performs moves involving the whole of their body, tossing and catching the baton in a variety of ways. Although its roots are similar, do not confuse baton twirling with majorettes or even cheerleading. You don’t want to upset a twirler with two batons in their hands!!
